Project Goals and Objectives

Primary Goal: As part of the College Experience course, students will achieve competency in several Information Literacy standards.

Secondary Goals:
· Students will become familiar with several online Library resources.
· Students will become familiar with the layout, functions, and policies of the Library.

Objectives:
· Students will use the Library Web site as a research portal.
· Students will complete an exercise based on the Library's online resources.
· Students will take an online virtual tour of the Library.
· Students will have their student ID cards validated for Library use.
· Students will keep a journal of their class experiences.
· Students will complete a survey at the end of this instructional module.
· Students will complete a semester-long Information Literacy Research Project to build on the skills introduced in this module.
