Sample Basic Skills Placement Test

When admitted to Passaic County Community College you must take the college's placement test. Presently, we use a "computerized" test instrument developed by the College Board named "Accuplacer." This test is used by many community colleges in the state to measure your skills in reading, writing, computation, and elementary algebra. It will help us to determine if you need to improve in any specific skill area(s) before starting your college career.

Current research indicates that the right preparation for such tests positively affects test scores. With that thought in mind, we have assembled together a package of review materials for your use.
